rolling stock

Mostly inspired by the Will Hay film 'Oh, Mr. Porter' and the works of the Rev. W. Awdry,

this unique rolling stock can be purchased at the links below.

gladstone (body shell) OO Gauge (1:76)

Gladstone has finally arrived at Buggleskelly Station!  This locomotive body shell has been designed using drawings, film stills and photographs from the set of the 1937 Will Hay comedy 'Oh, Mr. Porter!'

It has been designed to fit onto an Electrotren 0-6-0 chassis (NOT INCLUDED), a necessary compromise from the 2-4-0 that was Gladstone's basis, but the best option using an available chassis.  Modellers willing to scratchbuild a 2-4-0 chassis can still use the shell as a basis for their own project.

Please note, this is a freelance design based on the locomotive from the film.  The details are based on available images and film stills, but the model is not an exact replica of Gladstone due to design restraints and minimal high quality source material, therefore some elements may differ slightly from the locomotive used in the film.
